For this work, the main idea was to turn the new AUDI Q2 into an interactive mapping car offering multiple designs and custom possibilities. So, from touch-screen to interactivity through a mapping for the #untaggable topic, we took the 3D model, customized it by adding textures -some of them animated- and mapped the car with different backgrounds.
The audience that attended the presentation of the car in Madrid could control and refresh the design of the car through multiples choices by using an easy touch-screen device while a camera placed in front of the car was taking and sending the pictures to their Facebook profiles.
Why do we have to tag everything? What if we don’t fit into one tag? What if we don’t want to be tagged? Find an artistic answer to these and much more questions that our multi-connected environment daily provokes us was the main idea for the new model’s teaser, which ultimately gets to the #untaggable topic of the commercial. Here it goes!
